Some Bunny Loves You..............

Three years ago when we were moving
from Kansas
back to Oklahoma,
my family came up for a final visit
to our wonderful little town.

 My sister
stopped at Nell Hill's on her way
to my house
and bought me this
pair of bunnies
to help me
through The Big Move.

So now, every year when I get my
Easter decor
out,
I think of our
former home
wonderful friends
and sweet sister.
I love those kind of presents!

The "famous" Nell Hill's logo!

 Aren't these the sweetest bunnies?

I found this metal cabbage pot
at a garage sale last year
for $1.
I snatched that right up!
In the summer I fill it with
red geraniums.

Anyway, I decided to use my cute little
hare pair (sorry..I could not resist)
and the metal cabbage pot.....
along with some Target $1 bin bunnies (5 years or so ago)
and Target $2.50 bowls
to produce a
Somebunny Loves You
tablescape!

 I used a mixture of
white and green plates
I already had
and topped with my $1 bunny plates.
Although in a few pics you will see just
white plates.......
then I stepped back and
decided I needed to add
a little green
to the tablescape.
(Just in case you eagle-eyed people noticed that!)

 One of my (male!) cousins
made this solid sugar egg
(well) over 30 years ago.
It is showing its age,
but I continue to put it out
every single year.
It is heavy!

The napkin rings are from Pier 1
several years ago.
Many times they will still have
holiday items
repeated though.

(Yes, I changed the napkins to some with green in them too....This is the one I had on originally and I only took one shot of the back of the bunny.)

All ready for the Easter season!

  3. Awww how cute. Every single piece looks great. This is the second blog I have seen that has an "antique" sugar egg this week.
    I am amazed they survive.
