Oklahoma on my mind............

An overview of the Memorial

We come here to remember

those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever.

May all who leave here know the impact of violence.

May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity.

If you have never been to the Oklahoma City National Memorial I have included a link.
There are virtual tours of both the outside and the museum.
The place is filled with symbolism and hope.
I have also included a link to the post I wrote last year.

Praying today for Oklahoma
for all the families and people affected
by the tragedy 16 years ago today.

Praying for America
that it will
never be
repeated.

Praying.

  1. Great post, Lori. Can't believe it has been 16 years since we were shocked by this senseless act. Praying today for comfort and peace for all those who lost loved ones and the survivors.

    Smiles,
    Carol

  2. It is hard to believe it's been that long! I can remember exactly where I was when I heard it! (I was still in high school!). Thanks for remembering.

  3. I remember that day and how everyone thought it must be foreign terrorists. It seems so long ago and is a day worth remembering. Joni
