But given the choices (Kansas--February 2008)
(Christmas Day/Oklahoma 2009).........
I will take..............
Oklahoma sizzling at 104 degrees.............Or
Oklahoma steaming at 107 degrees.
Anytime.
A solid week of over 104 degrees.
And I am not complaining.
Bring it on.
(And for the record. I do not sit inside with the air-conditioning all day! In fact, our a/c never dips below 79 degrees...and it doesn't even work that well in this darn rent house.)
Call me crazy...................
Yep you are crazy!!! I am not a heat/humidity girl like I've told you before. I am a cold weather girl!! But God made us all different, so you can take your heat and enjoy it my sweet!

My neighbor and I were just talking this morning about how suffocating our heat and humidity has been. 104-110 heat index every day. And so sticky outside! I can't wait to put orange leaves and little pumpkins in my planters out front! But my husband is like you. He says "stop talking like that".

I'm right there with you! I hate being cold much worse than being hot! But Wayne can't wait for the 30 degree days!

I'M WITH YA 100%!!!! I'd much rather be wilting in the heat than shivering in the cold...anyday! :) At least I have the option of being outside and enjoying the warm sunshine (even if it's in the shade of a maple tree!), than to be stuck inside the house wishing I was sitting outside in the shade of the maple tree. lol!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can hardly wait to leave all the snow and cold behind someday and enjoy warm winters down south.... (sigh!)
Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only crazy one out here....LOL!

I don't know about this...I am in Texas and we are having the same weather pattern and I am hating it! I want some cooler weather so I can go outside and enjoy the day. The humidity is too much. I am thinking if I have to be indoors I would rather it be cold outside so I can snuggle up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate. When it is hot...I can't find relief..even the pool temperature is hot! I am glad you are enjoying it though. If you are doing a tablescape come link up to Centerpiece Wednesay today on my blog. I loved your Father's day centerpiece idea that you linked up with us awhile ago.
